Chambersburg Family Town Homes will be a newly constructed low income housing tax credit development in the Borough of Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The 40 unit lease-purchase development sits squarely in the Borough’s Elm Street Program target area on 5.5 acres. The town homes will be available to households with incomes at or below 60% AMI. The development will consist of two, three and four bedroom units 1150, 1350, and 1450 square feet respectively. The two and three-bedroom units will contain 1.5 baths and four-bedroom units will contain 2 full baths. Four-six units will be set-aside for persons with disabilities and 30 units will have VisitAbility design features, including wheelchair ramps inside each garage/zero-step entrances, direct access to first floor bathrooms and 36” doorways and passageways.
